Or new growth. As most of us continue to self-isolate while essential workers battle the frontline, we must adapt. This month includes things we would typically do, along with some things that we need to take into account during this time of transition.

April Facts: April is the second month of Spring and received its name for the Greek goddess of love, Aphrodite. The month’s name originally came from Aprilis, which means to open. Spring has sprung!
I love everything about Spring. The flowers, the rain, the rainbows, the newness of it all. It’s the gateway to summer and everything refreshing. It’s when the animals start to wake from hibernation and to rub their sleepy eyes, thinking of new possibilities. They wake hungry and ready for adventure. Animals all over are hungry to feed themselves and prepared for growth, as should we.
I encourage you to dance in the rain, inhale the aroma of the blossoms, and practice the attitude of gratitude. During this time of quarantine and social distance is a great time to do all those things you wanted to do but never had time.
No, I don’t mean to fill up all of your white space with tasks, but maybe all those times you wanted to get ahead. I’m talking about spending more time with your husband, getting to know him all over again. If you have children take time to listen to their dream out loud and help encourage their vision and work together to create a plan to get there.
Take this time to pray and meditate and get closer to your creator. Read his promises and learn from the stories he left behind. Listen to music and dance like you don’t have a care in the world.
Have fun and loving, laughing, and living.
What are your thoughts? I'd love to hear them!
